Marketing and PR Executive

Blue River are looking for a multi-disciplined Marketing Executive, PR Executive and Copywriter. We need a customer-oriented, proactive individual to join our growing graphic design agency. This is a great role if you are somebody already within an agency environment, or working within an internal Marketing department with a desire to be in a more creative role.

You’ll have a flair for copy writing for a variety of audiences, with the ability to work to your own initiative to time-manage both yourself and our client's projects.

Responsibilities include:

Working closely with the new business and creative teams on a multitude of marketing, PR and copy writing projects

Sourcing, writing and putting together tenders, proposals and presentations for Blue River

Writing case studies of Blue River's projects, for use with presentation documents, tenders, website and as a sales tool

Recognising press stories, sourcing suitable press opportunities, writing and releasing press articles into local papers, trade magazines and business publications

This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody looking to make their mark on a company, as Blue River would encourage you to look at and develop our current Marketing and PR approach

Preferable experience/attributes to be presented on application:

Experience in project management
Educated to degree level. Preferably a marketing, English or Journalism degree, or 2 years experience working as a Marketing or PR Executive.
Exceptional writing skills and ability to tailor writing to different purposes (technical and creative)
A friendly, approachable personality for this customer-facing role
Minimum 2 years experience

Half Pint

5 of the Blue River team went along to give blood today. For 3 of us it was the first time. For one of us, it was too much. Alex fainted after her first half pint. Luckily Neil was on hand to offer his support... and document the moment on camera.
