www.blueriver.co.uk

Our brand spanking new website is a long time coming but the Sistine Chapel wasn't painted in a day. It's still in the making, but for now we've updated our holding site with a few of our recent projects. Check it out, blueriver.co.uk.

Couples Exhibition

"No matter how many options there are, it is human nature to always narrow things down to two polar, yet inextricably linked, choices" Andreal Zittel (artist, US)

BALTIC are running a Couples exhibition from Wednesday 1 October to Sunday 2 November, featuring a series of talks with selected people whose particular interests or work are linked or opposing.

Two of Blue River's design team will be at BALTIC tomorrow, Thursday 9 October, to talk about the creative thought process of graphic design and how it is executed using modern technology. Our designers are coupled with Andrew Morley, an enamel advertising sign historian.

The full list of couples who will feature during the exhibition is available here.

Just for The Crack

Here's a cheeky little advert in The Crack magazine, as part of BALTIC's latest campaign to make you come. To their exhibitions.

Angel Wings

Photos taken of a viral campaign for The Sage Gateshead, raising anticipation for Skellig, a contemporary opera commissioned by The Sage of David Almond’s award-winning novel of the same name. Skellig is the mysterious story of an old man who performs acts of magic which transcend our world and throw into question society's perception of angels.

Why not try striking a winged pose, taking a photo and uploading it onto the Skellig Flickr site at flickr.com/groups/skellig/. For more information, click here.
